Carolyn, I'm thrilled to learn of even more of these wonderful quilt squares coming from Floyd. They must have loved that pattern!

It's always a joy to learn something new about that wonderful community. I'm so honored to be on that family tree!

I just wish we had written down all those stories that Grannie, Granddad and our parents told. What a history book that would have been!

It's great that the little dolls are now being displayed and bringing back happy memories for so many! Granny Borden told me stories of her horse back trips to see neighbors on the prairie. Sometimes to a party, sometimes to deal with sickness, an accident or a funeral. I wish I could listen to her again!

So sweet! We have a quilt in the family made by my Aunt Ruth Scott of Floyd. Maybe these ladies all gathered together at one time...:)

By the way... Tillie and I are still looking for anyone from the Beck family who lived in Floyd in the 1920s or 1930s.
