Christmas Guests

Every Christmas they come over here

And fill up my home with their cheer

Johnny Mathis and Bing

Burl Ives and Celine

I’m thrilled they’ve all come back this year

‘Tis the season for some happy rhyme!  Please, oh please… write a holiday limerick of your own and add it here on the “comments”!

    Here’s one from Rick:

A man went fishing on Christmas day.
And worried what his wife would say.
    Although he had fun,
    He thought he should run.
And so he went home to pray.

  2. Sandy says:

Love it Rick! You’re planning ahead!

  3. Pam says:

There once was a girl named Sandy
Who with words she was quite handy
    While helping Gary lay bricks
    She’d make up limericks
And her friends all agreed they were dandy!

  4. Sandy says:

Ha! Pam you’ve made me smile. But where’s the holiday cheer?? Does this mean I’m supposed to lay bricks on Christmas Day??

  5. Pam says:

Ha ha! Nooo…I got a little sidetracked..I’ll work on it!

  6. Lori says:

There once was a man named Bing.
And he really knew how to sing!
    Every Christmas I play
    His songs all day.
And around my house go caroling!

  7. Sandy says:

Hooray for Bing Crosby! And Hooray for your Christmas Limerick!
