Life Lessons

My dad taught me to read when I was tiny…

Ran along beside me teaching me to ride a bicycle…

Made sure I could drive a standard…

Helped me with my trigonometry and calculus…

And always told me he was sure I could accomplish anything I set my mind to.

Thanks, Daddy

p.s.  I’ll always remember the time you tried to teach Kim and me to do the Fosbury Flop in the back yard.  I was about as good at that as I was at Fortran programming!

Happy Father’s Day!

Oh what a beautiful photo! Wasn’t that just 2 or 3 years ago?

The first photo certainly seems like 2 or 3 years ago! And the last photo is courtesy of Micah… who snapped it 2 or 3 months ago.

(My best guest has me thinking we had those photos taken in 1975.)
