Thirty Years of Tradition

As you know, I’m a chronicler.  Love to have things all organized… so it was only a matter of time before I did a little report on my holiday tradition.  We’ve been making them every year since our first Christmas together in 1983.

These commemorate special events.  A new millennium, my gift-shop opening, G’s big racquetball tournament, my marathon, and our silver wedding anniversary.

Our three years on St. Thomas.  (After we moved to Guam we decided an island themed ornament every year might get to be too much!)

The buildings… the year we built our first house, our red barn, the church building, and a latte stone from Guam.

Sometimes our travels inspire us.  Hong Kong, Scotland, Falkland Islands, and one grand year driving all over the United States in our green Jeep.

But usually the ornaments are just a little something to say “Happy Holidays”!

Sweet Tradition

I have this Christmas tradition…

Not only a great tradition, but you two are so talented that you’re creating keepsakes for everyone in your family. Lovely idea, and I, too, wait to see the photo of the 2013 addition!
